Untitled “Colour of the wonder”, 2022 Ha Long Winter Carnival 2022 is going to kick off on December 24 at the Tuan Chau international tourism area.

The first winter carnival was held in Quang Ninh last year.

The highlight of this festival is a yacht-shaped stage installed on a large truck. This mobile stage will move along the performance route. A large stand where the opening and closing ceremonies and performances are organized can accommodate about 300 seats.

In addition, audiences are set to be wowed by performances of helicopters, seaplanes, and paragliders in the skies overhead. They can also take part in a big cuisine market during the festival.

With the participation of thousands of actors, the carnival aims at promoting Ha Long, home to the World Heritage site Ha Long Bay, as a safe and friendly destination. 

As the second winter carnival to be held in Quang Ninh, it promises to offer a new experience in Ha Long and help diversify tourism products in the province during the low season.

The festival will be broadcast live on QTV1 and other media channels of the Quang Ninh Media Group.
