On November 21, Vietnam Travel Day 2025 was launched by the Vietnam Tourism Association, in collaboration with the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee in Bai Chay ward. The event, one of the largest B2B tourism promotion initiatives, aims to boost growth during the year-end peak travel season.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, local authorities, and domestic travel enterprises

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu, President of the Vietnam Tourism Association Vu The Binh, and Vice Chairwoman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hanh.

Around 520 tourism enterprises, both domestic and international, participated in the event.

Vietnam Travel Day is expected to become an annual event, creating a platform for networking, collaboration, and the promotion of professional tourism products and services, while highlighting the pivotal role of the travel sector in sustainable tourism development. The event is part of the Action Program implementing Government Resolution 226/NQ-CP, aimed at promoting tourism growth and supporting Quang Ninh in attracting more visitors.

The program features three main activities. The B2B Business Matching segment facilitated thousands of meetings, exchanges, and partnership agreements between 120 international companies and approximately 300 Vietnamese travel and tourism enterprises.

Beyond a traditional trade fair, it serves as a dynamic space for connection, collaboration, and inspiration across the industry. Participating companies were able to consult, network, and identify partners to strengthen the sector’s business network.

In parallel, the Vietnam Travel Day Forum 2025 provided a strategic platform to explore solutions for promoting the country’s travel industry, encouraging innovation and proactive approaches in the era of tourism growth.

The program also included Quang Ninh Destination Promotion and Product Surveys, offering experiences in Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and Yen Tu, along with showcases of local culture and cuisine.

During the opening ceremony, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, local authorities, and domestic travel enterprises, formalizing cooperation to further develop and promote tourism in the province.
