The overview of the meeting

At the meeting, Chairman Bui Van Khang briefed the delegation on the province’s socio-economic development achievements, noting that Quang Ninh is one of the attractive destinations for strategic investors. At present, the province has investment and business activities from 20 countries, with total registered capital exceeding USD 17 billion.

The Chairman welcomed the Arab enterprises and investors to explore and invest in Quang Ninh, and encouraged them to consider priority sectors, including high-tech industries; high-end tourism services; trade associated with the development of reputable, high-quality products; safe agriculture combined with processing and manufacturing; logistics; and seaport systems.

For his part, Chairman of the Arab Business Council Bassam Tabajah expressed his impression of Quang Ninh’s dynamic investment and business environment as well as its clear development orientation. He hoped that the province would continue to facilitate conditions for Arab corporations and investors to study investment opportunities, strengthen information exchange and connectivity, thereby gradually materializing concrete, effective, and long-term cooperation projects, aiming to soon implement the first joint investment projects and cooperation initiatives in Quang Ninh.
