Bac Tien Phong is one of Quang Ninh’s well-planned, high-quality industrial parks, attracting numerous secondary projects in high-tech and environmentally friendly industries.
As one of the province’s key investment destinations, Song Khoai Industrial Park has so far attracted 20 secondary investment projects, with total registered capital exceeding USD 3 billion. These projects are mainly concentrated in high-tech processing and manufacturing industries with high added value, in line with Quang Ninh’s orientation towards green and sustainable industrial development. Alongside investment attraction, the industrial park has been developed in accordance with eco-industrial park criteria.
Notably, the infrastructure investor of Song Khoai Industrial Park is implementing specific measures to optimise resource use, aiming to reduce the proportion of raw water consumption from 95 per cent to approximately 75 per cent. At the same time, the investor is developing a solar power system with an expected capacity of about 220 MW, contributing to a gradual transition towards clean and renewable energy in production and business operations.
Beyond Song Khoai Industrial Park, industrial parks across Quang Ninh have also proactively adopted various measures to enhance environmental protection and reduce greenhouse gas emissions during production, moving towards green, circular and sustainable industrial development.

At present, the province has eight industrial parks, two coastal economic zones and three border-gate economic zones. All industrial parks are equipped with centralized wastewater treatment systems that meet regulatory standards, with a combined capacity of 65,400 cubic metres per day. These efforts contribute to the gradual realisation of Quang Ninh’s goal that by 2030, all industrial parks and economic zones will meet green standards and operate under a circular economy model.
By prioritizing improvements in industrial park infrastructure, Quang Ninh has increasingly become a destination for leading corporations in processing, manufacturing and high-tech industries, including Foxconn, TCL, Jinko, Autoliv, Texhong and Thanh Cong. The presence of these projects not only creates jobs but also serves as a driving force for the locality to further raise environmental standards, meeting “green” requirements of global supply chains.
