The Ba Che Highland cultural market design
Previously, the highland market model was introduced in the communes of Đon Đac, Luong Mong and Thanh Son, contributing to the preservation of highland cultural identity. It has now been renewed and organised at Ba Che Market (Village 5, Ba Che Commune), with first session held on 6–7 February 2026. The market is scheduled to take place twice a month, on the first and third Saturdays, creating a vibrant and regular cultural activity that attracts to visitors.

Members of the Dao Thanh Y community present their intricate hand-embroidered traditional attire.
A wide range of products is available at the market, including agricultural products, medicinal herbs and notable OCOP products. Traditional handicrafts such as brocade textiles and bamboo-and-rattan items are also highlights for visitors. Beyond commerce, the market serves as a channel to promote indigenous values while providing livelihoods for local residents.

The vibrant market attracts large numbers of visitors eager to explore and experience local culture.
Visitors can also experience authentic highland cuisine culture, featuring dishes such as, stream fish and free-range chicken, forest vegetables and smoked buffalo, as well as traditional rice cakes and five-coloured sticky rice. The market also serves as a community cultural space, offering folk performances, spring-themed music, traditional dances, ethnic sports and interactive games, creating distinctive tourism highlights.
Visitors to the market can also explore nearby attractions including Lang Cang Waterfall, Khe Lanh Waterfall, forest trekking routes and the serene Ba Che River winding through mountainous landscapes. During special occasions such as Lunar New Year and ethnic cultural festivals, the market becomes even more vibrant, attracting large numbers of local residents and tourists.
