Fireworks illuminated the sky over Ha Long, marking the arrival of the New Year.

A high-altitude fireworks show in Ha Long Ward began right after a special art program celebrating the Party and the Spring Year of the Horse at the Oct. 30 Square concluded.

The art program at the Oct. 30 Square was one of three live broadcast venues under the theme “Knocking on Spring 2026 – A happy Spring,” organized by Quang Ninh Media Group (QMG), drawing tens of thousands of spectators to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

At the sacred New Year’s Eve moment, families gathered together in joy, capturing beautiful memories as they welcomed the New Year.

Fireworks also illuminated the sky over the Tien Yen River in Tien Yen Commune.

Local art programs, including “Border Echoes – Faith and Aspiration” in Binh Lieu Commune, added to the joyful and festive atmosphere welcoming the New Year.
