According to the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the province welcomed approximately 1,128,000 tourist arrivals during the eight-day Lunar New Year holiday (February 14–21), representing a 16% year-on-year increase. Of the total, international tourist arrivals were estimated at 248,000. Total tourism revenue was estimated at nearly VND3.2 trillion.

Major attractions across the province continued to draw large numbers of visitors. Ha Long Bay received nearly 80,000 arrivals; Sun World Ha Long Complex welcomed around 13,000; Quang Ninh Museum recorded about 8,000; Cua Ong Temple welcomed approximately 80,000; Cai Bau Pagoda around 158,000; the Bach Dang Special National Historical Site Complex about 104,000; and the Tran Dynasty Historical Site around 81,000… International arrivals through Mong Cai International Border Gate were estimated at 35,000.

Notably, the Yen Tu Complex of Monuments and Landscapes implemented a range of tourism stimulus measures, including setting the admission fee at VND0 per person per visit; waiving parking fees for cars and motorbikes at Ha Kieu parking area through the end of 2026; providing complimentary insurance coverage for all visitors; and installing an AI-based automatic visitor recognition system at entry and exit points. As a result, the site attracted approximately 171,000 tourist arrivals, 2.2 times higher than the same period in 2025.
