Leaders of the Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board present the Decision on establishing the Co To – Tran Island Marine Protected Area Management Team.

Under the decision of the provincial People’s Committee, the Management Team of the Co To – Tran Island Marine Protected Area will operate under the Bai Tu Long National Park Conservation Center, an affiliate of the Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board. The Co To – Tran Island Marine Protected Area was established to safeguard marine ecosystems, restore and develop aquatic resources, and contribute to sustainable marine economic development in line with the national biodiversity conservation strategy and Quang Ninh Province’s master plan for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision toward 2050.
