Tourism products that showcase the cultural heritage of fishing communities within Ha Long Bay’s scenic heritage landscape continue to attract visitors.

The criteria will focus on environmental protection, cultural preservation and community responsibility. Beyond serving as an evaluation framework, the green tourism criteria are intended to guide businesses in transitioning towards more sustainable development models, improving destination quality and responding to growing demand for environmentally responsible travel. The adoption of green tourism criteria is expected to strengthen the province’s attractiveness to visitors while supporting the effective implementation of national green growth objectives.
